JETENCODE / LEGAL & TRUST

Privacy policy

Effective September 10, 2026Version 1.0

This policy explains the limited information JetEncode receives through this website and support, and distinguishes that from media processed inside infrastructure you control.

Scope

This policy applies to jetencode.com, email support provided by JetEncode, and the JetEncode software distributed through AWS Marketplace. Your use of AWS services is also governed by your agreements with AWS and the AWS Privacy Notice.

Information we receive

  • Support information. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any diagnostic details or attachments you choose to send.
  • Basic website records. Our hosting and network providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.
  • Marketplace information. AWS may provide seller reports and aggregated product-usage or subscription information under the AWS Marketplace seller terms. We do not receive your AWS password or payment-card details.

Media processed by JetEncode

JetEncode is delivered as an AMI that runs in your AWS account. Running the software does not by itself send your source videos or encoded output to JetEncode. You control the AWS resources, permissions, storage locations, network configuration, and retention used for your workloads.

Do not send private media, passwords, access keys, or other secrets in a support email. Use a redacted diagnostic sample whenever possible.

How we use and share information

We use information to operate and secure the website, answer support requests, improve JetEncode, comply with law, and enforce our terms. We may share it with service providers that host or protect the site, deliver email, or support business operations; when required by law; or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and external resources

The current site does not provide user accounts, advertising trackers, or a marketing analytics interface. Essential hosting, security, and font-delivery providers may still process request data or set strictly necessary controls. If that changes materially, we will update this policy and any consent controls required by law.

Retention, security, and international processing

We keep support and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable protections.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. To make a request, email support@jetencode.com. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where law permits or requires it.

Children and changes

JetEncode is a business and developer product and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the product or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
