Run JetEncode in your AWS account
JetEncode is a self-hosted video transcoder delivered as an AWS Marketplace AMI. The software runs on EC2 in your account, close to the storage and delivery systems your media workflow already uses.
What JetEncode does
JetEncode accepts a source, applies one or more output definitions, schedules the work across encoding workers, and exposes job state through its browser UI and HTTP API. Use it for video, audio, image, HLS, and MPEG-DASH output workflows.
What you operate
You choose the AWS Region, EC2 capacity, network boundary, S3 locations, and scaling model. JetEncode supplies the transcoding application and parallel-worker workflow; AWS supplies and bills the infrastructure.
AWS is the current launch target. Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, and Akamai Cloud images are coming soon.

PostgreSQL 18 is installed in the cloud image alongside the JetEncode binary.
